Coach Aly

Aly has dedicated herself to archery ever since she began shooting in 3rd grade at Mount Westonka. She competed throughout middle and high school, winning local, regional, state and national recognition. She continues to compete with the Minnesota State Archery Association (MNSAA) in 3D and league tournaments. After graduating Bemidji State University, Aly decided to become a coach to expand her love of archery by teaching others. She has been a Minnetonka Archery coach for three years, while also teaching community education archery classes and camps. As a coach, Aly focuses on teaching discipline, goal-setting, sportsmanship and teamwork, alongside archery practice and technique. In addition, with coach support and encouragement, the majority of middle school and high school archers are “academic archers,” maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
